Remember that when choosing the right photovoltaic panels, you should take into account a number of important factors that will ensure the correct operation of the micro-installation. The number of PV panels in the installation should be large enough, as well as their power, to generate enough energy. It is important to arrange them to the south, tilt to the sun or the level of shade, for example by trees or buildings. Suitable components, such as an inverter, should also be selected for solar panels.

Therefore, when deciding on a photovoltaic installation - discuss this issue with a specialist!

Renewable energy sources, including photovoltaics, are increasingly contributing to environmental protection.

In order to encourage prosumers to use renewable energy, new climate programs are constantly being created, offering subsidies, preferential loans or tax breaks.

Co-financing for photovoltaics - for whom?

The beneficiaries of government and local government programs are primarily natural persons, but there are also projects for companies and institutions. The policy of popularizing photovoltaics in Poland covers both private individuals and entrepreneurs and farmers. They can also be used by government and local government units, science and culture institutions, cooperatives and housing communities.

Trust us - we will help you choose the program for yourself!

for home

"My Electricity" is a program of co-financing photovoltaic micro-installations with a capacity of 2 to 10 kW, addressed to private individuals. The beneficiary may receive up to 50% of eligible costs (but not more than PLN 3,000). PLN) purchase and installation of photovoltaic systems on already existing residential buildings.

The condition for granting the grant is the submission of relevant documents by December 22, 2021 at the latest. Note: the documentation cannot apply to a photovoltaic installation connected before February 2, 2020, and the new installation cannot be an extension of the existing one.

It is a more extensive RES program, one of the elements of which is the installation of a photovoltaic installation. Contrary to the "My Electricity" project, it is open to those who are just building their home. Under the "Clean Air" program, a potential beneficiary may apply for a grant or a loan. The maximum cost of the investment from which the subsidy will be calculated is as much as 53 thousand. PLN - if this amount is exceeded, it is possible to take out a low-interest loan. The amount of the grant depends on the income and can be as high as 90% of the eligible costs for people with low income.

Applications for co-financing from the "Clean Air" program can be submitted throughout the year, while on the day of submitting the documentation, the investment should already be in progress.

Thermomodernization relief

When renewing your home, you can use the so-called. thermomodernization relief, i.e. deductions from the tax calculation basis (revenues - in the case of a flat-rate tax) of expenses for the thermal modernization of a single-family house. Importantly, this relief may be combined with co-financing from the "Clean Air" program - therefore you can deduct expenses up to 53,000. PLN (obviously incurred for the thermal modernization of the building).

This relief does not apply to single-family houses under construction, but it can be used by owners or co-owners of buildings that have undergone thermal modernization, including completely or partially replacing traditional energy sources, for example with photovoltaic panels. If the owner has several real estates, he may take advantage of the relief only for one of them, however, each co-owner of a given apartment may additionally take advantage of the relief.

for companies

The transformed "Energy Plus" program is primarily aimed at promoting the reduction of the negative impact that enterprises have on the natural environment - of course for the benefit of business operators. "Energia Plus" provides support for companies in the form of a loan or subsidy, but the entrepreneur must meet three conditions:

  • the average annual energy consumption in the year preceding the submission of the application may not be less than 2 GWh
  • before submitting the application, the company must pass an energy audit
  • the investment must be recommended by an audit, while the planned energy savings cannot be less than 5%.

Applications can be submitted until December 18, 2020 or until the financial envelope is exhausted.

More information about the program can be found at: +48 784 369 780

Companies that want to invest in photovoltaics can also receive financial support from the "Stork" program dedicated to entrepreneurs, running until 2020. Companies can spend funds from this project until 2023 for purposes related to the reduction of CO2 emissions using renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic energy.

Under the program, entrepreneurs can obtain an attractively interest-bearing loan covering up to 85% of eligible costs, and the maximum repayment period is 15 years.

Photovoltaics for farmers

The "Agroenergia" program is addressed to natural persons or legal persons who are owners or tenants of agricultural real estate with a usable area of 1 to 300 ha. These persons must personally run a farm or agricultural or economic activity related to agriculture at least one year before submitting the application for funding.

The granted funds may be used by the beneficiary to create new installations of renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic micro-installations with a capacity of 10 kWh to 50 kWh, as well as to create an accompanying electricity storage.

More information about the program can be found at: +48 784 369 780

The subsidy is not connected to any of other govermental programs. The investment cannot be started before the application.

Modernization of agricultural holdings

Funds obtained from the Rural Development Program, assuming, inter alia, the rationalization of production technology and the introduction of innovation, can also be allocated to photovoltaics.

Farmers from various production areas can count on support (this also affects the amount of co-financing) and this is what the requirements must be met by a potential beneficiary. The main criterion is that the investment contributes to an increase in gross value added on the farm by at least 0% within 5 years of the grant. The farm must also have a certain economic value.

The standard amount of co-financing is 50% of the eligible costs incurred. In the case when a young farmer applies for the aid or when the application was submitted jointly by several people, the subsidy may amount to 60%.

Investment relief for photovoltaic panels for the agricultural tax payer

In addition to subsidies for farmers investing in photovoltaic installations, there are also tax breaks for both natural persons and business entities.. To be able to take advantage of the investment relief for photovoltaic panels, you must be:

  • land owner
  • perpetual usufructuary of land
  • an independent owner of land
  • the owner of land owned by the State Treasury or local government units.

The investment relief can be used after the construction of the photovoltaic installation is completed. Then the farm may deduct 25% of the costs incurred for the construction of the investment from agricultural tax - purchase of materials and assembly. Please note that all expenses must be confirmed by receipts or invoices.

The relief for the installation of photovoltaic panels is available to the investor for up to 15 years, which means that for such a period of time, each year, he has the option of writing off this amount from the agricultural tax.
